Maxine Garriott, 89, formerly of the Austin and Blooming Prairie areas, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at a nursing home in San Rafael, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents husband sister, Lila Staley and special friend, Paul King. sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bob Bates of Little Falls, Minn. 12 grandchildren eight great-grandchildren brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Nancy Leckness of Hayfield, Minn. sons and daughter-in-law, Jack and Debbie Nesbitt of Denver, Colo., Bob Nesbitt of Plymouth, Minn. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia Nesbitt of Milwaukee, Wis., Karen and Gary Kramer of San Antonio, Texas, Ruth and Bob Arens of Austin, Minn. Casket Bearers will be Gene Leckness, Eli Mathias, Lynn Nesbitt, Dave Folken, Mike Arens and Jeramie Kramer. The organist will be Neal Erickson and the soloist will be Kaye Perry. Olaf Lutheran Church for one hour before the service. Visitation will be held at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Austin on Saturday, March 15, 2003, at 10 a.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2003, at 1 p.m.
